Chown Pella Lofts historic brick warehouse building in Portland's Pearl District

Chown Pella Lofts

Authentic timber warehouse lofts in a vintage Pearl District brick building.

About Chown Pella Lofts

Portland's Chown Pella Loft building started life in 1910 as a warehouse for the Chown Pella window company (now known as Pella). At over 115 years old, it finds itself a luxury loft building in one of the best possible Pearl District locations. Residents have done some really cool things with these lofts, and each one is pretty unique. We've seen high-end industrial style kitchens, funky tile in the baths, gothic chandeliers... there's a lot to work with here to create your own personal space. In every loft you'll find tall wood ceilings, brick walls, tons of exposed ductwork and much more. Some of the top floor units have patios but most do not. However there is a rooftop resident deck that everyone shares with BBQ's and terrific views of the city and mountains. This is true historic loft living but with some modern luxury and conveniences that don't compromise the building's character.
